Orqa and FlyFive33 are two companies driven by people passionate about FPV that want to bring amazing new products and support the community as a whole. We should be grateful that there is at least some competition in the analogue goggle space to choose from and not just a complete monopoly from a single supplier like DJI have in the digital space.New Orqa headset made in collaboration with FlyFive33 arrives fully optimized to bring you the ideal racing performance! Again, everyone has their own use case and budget. There are also a lot of pilots out there who don't need focal adjustment on the lenses (I am currently fortunate enough to be one that doesn't) or who are happy to use slide in diopters. You're only thinking of your own use case and not considering the wider picture. Most of the pilots who fly micro quads and whoops have to rely on the DVR if they want footage, and for that they want the best DVR quality possible. Not everyone flies a quad that can take an HD camera. Without adjustable lenses the orqas are an old design to me. Regarding the processing power/firmware updates, that’s also another gimmick, so far nothing useful has come out and I don’t think streaming flights is very interesting. DVR is mainly use to retrieve a lost quad, I don’t use for it anything else. I don’t think anyone expects a HD DVR on the orqas. The bulbs last post here, the bulbs has spoken ![]() ![]() I get your point on the DVR but who it truly matters to is a mystery to me. One thing that both the Orqas and Skyzones do have going for them is that at least they are partly future-proof by being firmware upgradable, and the Orqas do have hardware expansion capabilities for future hardware module options. You just have to choose what you feel is right for you and pay your money. The bottom line is that all of the premium analogue goggles in this hobby are overpriced because of the small market and tiny profit margins. There’s already enough info telling people orqas are a bad buy for many reasons. All the info is out there for all to read and avoid them. They really have no engineering backend.Īnyways I’m done bashing orqa, they get enough hate due to their lack of any good products and all marketing. we all have companies we like but orqas a waste of money and their HD system is non existent. And now they wanted fatsharks HD tech too. Orqas most impressive feat is using their army of backers to promote them 2 years later. Orqas one of those companies that’s all marketing and no worthy product. They kept the huge stupid design and sold you “firmware updates”. they kept advertising them adjustable lenses though even though they made the design decision to remove the adjustable lenses in late 2018. Ok friend, Orqas are the best goggle of 2018 when they were designed with those who huge oblong bulges meant for the adjustable lenses they gave up on because they don’t know how to make a goggle. probably it will stay as the best analog goggle forever :-) Its just the best analog goggle on the market, it even doesnt look like there cone other flagships from any brand for analog.
